HAWK SUAV

HAWK system is an innovative UAV for short-range surveillance and reconnaissance missions required for civil and military applications. A single operator is capable of carrying – deploying and operating the system.

 

HAWK can be equipped with various payload options that offer exquisite picture quality and stabilization. Additionally you get features like target tracking and thermal imaginary. The list of advantages continues with is its cutting-edge, developed in-house, autopilot capabilities that grant the operator a safe, fully automated flight, allowing him to remain mission focused. 

The UAV is equipped with a silent electric motor that allows it to fly close to the mission site while remaining undetected. Its innovative structure manufactured completely from aerospace grade composite materials guarantees high rigidity of the airframe that lets the operator to land the AV on rough surfaces multiple times and complete missions in extreme weather conditions.

 

The UAV is equipped with the following systems:

  • Airframe – composite construction airframe, including fuselage, 2 wings, 2 winglets

  • Avionics – FCC (flight control computer), servos, engine speed controller and other electronic equipment

  • Power plant – a brushless electronic motor

  • Payload - EO/IR stabilized gimbal (x2) 

  • Data link –SBand for video and telemetry, UHF for uplink command

  • Lithium battery ( 2 per UAV)

 

Ground Control Station includes:

 

  • OWS – operator work station including GCS (ground control system), portable table and chairs set

  • Ground Antenna Complex (GAC) 

  • OWS and GAC connection cable

FLIGHT MODES​

  • Flight to the Point: The UAV automatically reaches the point with the given coordinates. The Autopilot System eliminates any possible mistake of the operator.

  • Flight by the Route given by the sequence of coordinates of the pivot points. 

  • "Camera Flight" - control is performed depending on the movement of the captured object holding it in the view of the UAV camera.

  • Returns are made automatically in case the communication is lost.
